You are invited to bring a child (or friend, or come by yourself) to become a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) jewelry designer by learning to use transfer foil, foam, tubes and other Scrap Box do-das. Learn design principles, and how to turn one piece into a collection, like the professionals do!

Under the direction of Nels Nelson-one of Ann Arbor’s most successful fine jewelry designers for 35 years-you will participate in innovative ‘upcycle’ techniques that magically transform Scrap Box materials into art to wear and impress. Workshop fee is $10 for adults (ages 14 & up) & $5 for children (ages 7-13). This includes all materials & tools needed for the project, which will be held at The Scrap Box.
The Scrap Box is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
